Where applicable, AMS69XX specification tensile tables in the 3.00 inch (76.2mm), inclusive or up to 4.00 inch (101.6mm), inclusive shall be edited to incorporate the bracketed requirements for short transverse dimension properties.
Rationale: To be in harmony with the AMS69XX series section 3.5 subclause (typically 3.5.1.1.6), describing when the ST direction satisfies the transverse testing requirement, the property requirements that are given in brackets for the next size range greater than 3.00 inches (76.2 mm), must also be applied via brackets to the size range that includes 3.00 inches (76.2 mm).
