Optional Test Procedures for Hydraulic Hose Assemblies

The procedures contained in this SAE Recommended Practice have been developed to establish uniform methods for impulse testing of hydraulic hose assemblies under special conditions not specified in SAE J343 for SAE J517 hoses. Basic impulse test parameters are to be in accordance with SAE J343 except as modified in this document.
Rationale:SAE J1019 was no longer found to be a valid stand alone document however the 3.2.0 High Temperature Circulation Test was considered a valid optional Hydraulic Hose Test. The High Temperature Circulation Test was added to SAE J1405 as an optional test procedure.
