Rationale: Integrating FCS's into a vehicle requires the, (1) alignment of interface and environmental conditions between each, as well as (2) an understanding about the system’s performance capabilities. Inherently linked by the FCS design, both (1) & (2) are commonly manipulated to produce data-based performance comparisons. This document is intended to aid in the comparison of competing FCS designs by providing a common recommended practice for performance testing. In doing so, this document will define performance measurements relative to manufacture claims and provides a format for recording test conditions.
