Rationale: With the introduction of Phase II Enhanced Vapor Recovery nozzles and automotive fuel system designs that utilize capless filler receptacles, improved definition of the interface for the fuel dispenser nozzle spout is required. This document is intended to give a general dimensional layout for conventional petrol, Enhanced Conventional (ECO) petrol, Phase II petrol, and Phase II Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) petrol dispenser spouts, which are used to refuel a wide range of vehicles. Specifying general dimensional requirements will ensure compatibility between the nozzle and vehicle fill pipe interface.
