Pedestrian Dummy Full Scale Test Results and Resource Materials
The materials included in this J document are not intended to represent a complete summary of pedestrian safety research activities, but are rather a collection of materials which can be helpful to users of SAE J2782.
Rationale: In the past decade a number of improvements to the pedestrian dummy have been achieved due largely to new data and tests as defined in revised documents J3093 (generic buck for full body testing) and J2782 (biofidelity corridors). The majority of these changes have focused on the lower extremity and whole body response of the pedestrian dummy. This document needs updated with the dummy's response to these newly defined biofidelity corridors.
