Scope of this effort intends to provide both educational materials and recommended practices regarding how system theoretic process analysis (STPA) may be applied within a safety assessment process focusing on safety-critical content.
Rationale: Revising to clarify J3187 is not an automotive only document. Revising Scope, Purpose, and Introduction sections, removing specific HMI, SOTIF, and MBSE sections to reduce document size and have these topics be associated appendices. Cleaning up simple fixes.
