In this paper, I would like to speak of the subject of "International Cooperation of Automotive Technolgoy". First the main distinct feature of the technology and industry of automobile related to the promotion of economical development and the increase of employment opportunities will be discussed. Secondly, a few suggestions how to promote the cooperations of the automotive technology among the nations will be given for the well balanced progress of autombile industry.

We introduce the progress and status of Korean automotive industry and some of observations and views on technology transfer from industrialized countries to developing countries are discussed.
