Human Engineering - Principles and Practices

This Engineering Bulletin and its annexes provide guidance on the application of Human Engineering principles and practices to the analysis, design, development, testing, fielding, support, accident investigation, and training for military and commercial products throughout their intended life cycles.
Rationale:
During the five-year review of the HEB1B document, the SAE G-45 Committee determined that the HEB1B is largely duplicitive with MIL-STD-46855A and no longer serves its original purpose. Despite this, the document does contain an historical record that is worth saving. Thus, the G-45 Committee decided that the best option going forward is to discontinue maintenance of the HEB1 document, while keeping it in the SAE inventory as an historical document. This revision C serves as the baseline for stablization.
