Dr. Stephan Bansmer is co-founder and managing director of the company Coldsense Technologies GmbH. From 2011 to the beginning of 2021, he worked at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics at the TU Braunschweig. Here he established and led the research group Multiphase Flows and Icing. Stephan spent many years at internationally renowned aeronautical and research clusters, including Toulouse, Montreal, Munich, and Cambridge. Within this framework, he also coordinated collaborations with international research partners (including NASA, ONERA, CIRA, DLR, NRC) and industry (Airbus, GE, Rolls Royce, etc.). Stephan is also an honorary professor at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches the field of aeroacoustics.
Galdemir Botura is recognized industry expert in ice protection & detection systems with exceptional engagement and leadership with OEMs, universities, consortiums, and standards committees. Before joining Collins in 1999, Galdemir spent over 12 years at Bombardier, Embraer and SAFRAN integrating systems as ice protection & detection, Air Management System (AMS), pneumatic, pressurization, oxygen, and water into aircraft. In his career Galdemir held several positions and roles of increased responsibilities and leadership from Manager Engineering and Programs, Sr. Manager Research and Applied Technologies, Sr. Manager Technology Office, Associate Director - Chief Programs to recently Senior Technical Fellow - Systems Architecting. He holds 38 USPTO patents and over 140 patents worldwide. His specialty is in understanding the interactions of aircraft systems from concept to certification.
