INCOSE is bringing the International Symposium to Detroit at a time when the Automotive sector is seeing dynamic change.

The symposium will take place June 25-30 with a theme of The Power of Connection, featuring experts in aerospace, energy, healthcare, ground transportation and mobility, the internet of things, AI, and cyber-physical systems.

Carla Bailo, President and CEO of the Center for Automotive Research (CAR), will deliver a keynote address and take part in the Automotive Executive roundtable session along with other leaders from the Automotive sector.

“The automotive and mobility industries have been undergoing dramatic shifts in the last decades. Technology is driving innovations such as electrification, digitalization, connectivity, and automation: the software-defined vehicle. There is strong evidence that effective use of Systems Engineering practices allow organizations to successfully navigate this complexity, delivering safe and effective products and services. Given the dramatic change we are experiencing, I am engaging with INCOSE to explore strategies for System Engineering adoption that will benefit the automotive sector,” Bailo said.

Along with Bailo’s Keynote address, Christopher Davey, Senior Global Manager for Systems Engineering, System Safety, Modelling & Simulation and Senior Technical Leader in Software & Control Systems Engineering at Ford Motor Company, will give a keynote address on Ford’s Connected-Agile, Model Based Systems Engineering and Simulation Journey….so far.

If you are an engineer working in the Automotive sector or a mobility professional interested in the future of the industry, join us at the International Symposium in Detroit from June 25-30 for an opportunity to network with your peers and exchange implementation ideas and experience with systems engineers from other industries.
