Tooth Profiles of the Sprockets of the Chain-Wave Transmission 1999-01-2809

In the paper is described the design and the principle of the operation of the Chain-Wave Transmission (CWT), which uses a multiple-strand roller infinite standard chain and presents analysis of experimental studies results pertaining to the determination of motion trajectories of the chain's roller center of the CWT.
A special designed model of the CWT was used to record motion trajectories of the chain roller center, both at the fixed transmitting sprocket and at the fixed interacting sprocket.
The analyses of the data confirm the correctness of theoretical conclusions made at graphic and analytical methods of research of the CWT.
