Embedding Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) with Electrical System Design for On-Demand Analysis and Quick ELA Report Generation 2019-01-1380

Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) is an extremely important aspect to ensure the safety and correct operation of aircraft, marine, rail transportation, and vehicles. However, ELA analysis and report generation is also a very long, manual process. This paper introduces a methodology to embed the ELA as part of the electrical system design process, which results in an on-demand ELA and quick creation of the ELA report. This new methodology not only reduces effort and the human hours required to create and maintain an ELA report, but allows engineers to use the ELA report as part of design analysis and design verification at any time and in any stage of the design process.
