Development of a Windshield Surface - Styling To Production 630158
A process is described which may be used to develop a new windshield surface. The procedure covers the period from the start of a surface by styling, until it is in volume production. Systems for analyzing drawings of windshield surfaces, and a measuring procedure for evaluating actual glass parts are described. Experience to date with the use of this surface analysis and evaluation technique indicates that deficient areas may be located and corrected before production.
