If the current trend continues there will be 30% fewer truck drivers in the early 1990's than there are today. Getting and keeping good drivers are major problems for the transportation industry. It's not unusual for a trucking company to have over 100% turnover. Several ideas are examined that work in combination to minimize turnover.
