New John Deere 2.9L 3-Cylinder Diesel Engines 921698
The new John Deere 2.9 Liter 3-cylinder diesel engines have been designed and developed to increase value through improved performance, reduced vibration and lower noise, and special features for first application on the new 5000 Series tractors. Engine fuel and air systems have been redesigned to give excellent fuel consumption, improved torque reserve, reduced smoke, and excellent starting. Lower engine vibration has been achieved by reducing the mass of the internal reciprocating components. A gear driven auxiliary drive has been added to power accessories such as the tractor hydraulic pump. The redesigned engine provides a superior product, well suited for Off-Highway applications.
