Tandem Master Cylinder in Change - Due to Specific Requirements of Anti Lock and Traction Control Systems 930504

Traction control systems (TCS), using brake application of the driven wheels to control the slip, place specific requirements on the master cylinder. These requirements appear in the case of brake fluid suction through the master cylinder and by braking - especially with ABS - during an active traction control mode. To meet the additional requirements, a new tandem master cylinder has been designed. The major characteristics are high pressure with-standing central valves with little flow resistance.
