Develop an AS for the minimum performance requirements for tracking devices that are utilized to track the location and other environmental conditions of a piece of equipment that will be transported on-board an aircraft, .i.e ULD, TCC, FRC. The AS will define test requirements or regulation that a device will need to meet to demonstrate no impact to its use on-board an aircraft operation and its crew. The goal would be to request a TSO be developed based on this new standard.

Airline operators, who utilized these facilities, have been faced with a growing number of adaptor bars necessary to suit each type of aircraft and door position.
