This SAE test method establishes a uniform test procedure for determining the gravimetric (mass based) efficiency and pressure drop performance levels of operator enclosure panel type filters on off-road, self-propelled work machines used in earth moving, and forestry, as defined in SAE J1116 and for agricultural equipment as defined in ANSI/ASAE S390, and equipped with an operator enclosure with a powered fresh air system. ISO/TS 11155-1 may additionally be used, which describes the use of particle sizing devices to measure the fractional (particle size) efficiency of panel type filters for automotive cabin filter applications. Automotive cabin filters are similar to filters described in this procedure, and the ISO/TS 11155-1 test method is therefore directly applicable.
This SAE Recommended Practice establishes a uniform test procedure for determining performance levels of operator enclosure panel type air filters on off-road, self-propelled work machines used in construction, general-purpose industrial, agriculture, and forestry as defined in SAE J1116 and equipped with an operator enclosure with a powered fresh air system.
This document establishes the requirements for technical content and format of hydraulic system diagrams. This document does not establish configuration requirements, material, or performance requirements for any system or component identified herein.
This SAE Standard applies to the usage of tires of the same nominal size and tread type, but with different outside diameter for articulated front-end loaders. Articulated four-wheel-drive front-end loader performance and component life can be affected by excessive differences in the tire outside circumference and/or diameter. The purpose is to provide specific guidelines for the usage of tires with different outside circumference and/or diameter on articulated front-end loaders.

This SAE Recommended Practice is intended to serve as a reference for the amount of torque that a Power Take-Off can induce on the transmission mounting pad. This document will apply to six-bolt, eight-bolt, and rear mounted power take-offs.
This document lists common terminology for vacuum excavation and sewer cleaning equipment, including component names and specific work completed by these machines. This document also illustrates some common types of equipment.
This SAE recommended practice provides procedures and methods for testing service, spring applied parking and combination brake actuators for air disc brake applications. Methods and recommended samples for testing durability, function and environmental performance are listed in 1.1 and 1.2.

This SAE Standard describes methods for evaluating the performance of the systems detection device, the minimum detection areas behind the machine, the visual and audible information presented to the operator and ground personnel, and the systems fault detection requirements. Also included are operator system function tests and maintenance procedures. The purpose of this document is to establish performance requirements for a Discriminating Back-Up Alarm System.
This procedure incorporates test cycles that produce relative fuel economy data relating to long haul, short haul, and local driving patterns, or any combination of these and to those components developed to improve fuel economy for these patterns. The tests conducted on a specific vehicle are to reflect that vehicle's general mode of operation. The procedure is intended to be used under controlled, warmed-up conditions on a test tract or on suitable roads. A minimum of two vehicles running simultaneously is required. Test condition recommendations are provided for undertaking this engineering test. If it is necessary to conduct a test outside of these test conditions, the purpose of the test and the variant conditions should be recorded and noted whenever the results are reported.
