The 1985 Airline Plating & Metal Finishing Forum was excited by the possibilities of the new and experimental dry stripping process. The 1986 Forum discussed the production facilities placed into use in the 1985 birthing year. The author here discusses dry stripping two years later, the new Western Airlines facility at LAX, and lessons learned in well over 100 installations.
