xEV Labels to Assist First and Second Responders, and Others

2023-09-06
WIP
J3108
This recommended practice prescribes clear and consistent labeling methodology for communicating important xEV high voltage safety information. Examples of such information include identifying key high voltage system component locations and high voltage disabling points. These recommendations are based on current industry best practices identified by the responder community. Although this recommended practice is written for xEVs with high voltage systems, these recommendations can be applied to any vehicle type.

electric Vertical Take Off and Landing (eVTOL) Emergency Lighting

2023-09-14
WIP
ARP8620
The purpose of this ARP is to provide criteria that will lead to and support existing regulatory standards of systems for UAM/AMM/eVTOL aircraft such that the emergency systems will facilitate egress under emergency conditions. Consideration is given to existing requirements of the FAA and to the recommendations of aircraft operators and those involved in the manufacture or use of the emergency lighting system. Occupant safety is the primary objective, with appropriate provisions for crew (pilot) system control taken into consideration. Consideration is also given to autonomous aircraft in which passengers are required to egress without the aid or direction of crew. The criteria established herein are intended to produce an emergency lighting system that will comply with the Federal and International Regulations. However, these recommendations are but one means of meeting the objective.

Wrenches, Box and Open End Combination Twelve Point, High Strength, Thin Wall, Metric

2004-01-23
MA4535
This SAE Metric Aerospace Standard (MA) provides dimensional, performance, testing and other requirements for high strength, thin wall, double head box and combination wrenches which possess an internal wrenching design so configured that, when mated with hexagon (6 point) fasteners, they shall transmit torque to the fastener without bearing on the apex of the fastener's wrenching points. This standard provides additional requirements beyond ANSI B107.9 appropriate for aerospace use. Inclusion of dimensional data in this document is not intended to imply all of the products described therein are stock production sizes. Consumers are requested to consult with manufacturers concerning lists of stock production sizes.

Worldwide On-Board Diagnostic Requirements Overview

2024-02-28
J3248_202402
This document focuses on the latest in-force regulations. However, in addition to latest information, the report may include historical information. As regulations are superseded, the previous entry will remain to help understand the change in requirements over time. The initial focus of the document includes light-, medium-, and heavy-duty on-road vehicles with all propulsion systems. The document will include information from the United States and Canada, with later publications expanding to other regions. Forecasts for future regulations will not be included in the spreadsheet but be kept in a separate document. The document may be expanded to other types of applications/vehicles as information becomes available.
