AIRCRAFT DATA NETWORK PART 4 INTERNET-BASED ADDRESS STRUCTURE & ASSIGNED NUMBERS

2007-12-21
CURRENT
ARINC664P4-2
This specification defines the addressing plan and rules for addressing used in Aircraft Data Networks (ADN). The plan is organized in accordance with the seven-layer Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model. The specification sets forth the structure of addresses that are employed in the ADN and guidance for address determination. This guidance ensures that all applications - that use this address structure to send messages - can know the address structure of the destination(s) at configuration-time.

CABIN EQUIPMENT INTERFACES PART 6 FIBER OPTIC CABLE ASSEMBLY GENERAL SPECIFICATION

2002-02-28
CURRENT
ARINC628P6
ARINC Specification 628, Cabin Equipment Interfaces (CEI) Part 6 Fiber Optic Cable Assembly General Specification, defines the minimum acceptable provisions for connectorized fiber optic cable assemblies used in permanently installed airframe wire bundles that are part of ARINC 628 supported systems. The intent is for the cable assembly supplier to use this specification as a guideline to provide the prospective IFE contractor with cable assemblies that have adequate quality and performance for the intended application. These assemblies are suitable for cabin systems applications only. Applicable guidelines not found in this specification may be found in Section 9 of ARINC Specification 628 Part 4A.

CABIN EQUIPMENT INTERFACES PART 7 CABIN EQUIPMENT COOLING GENERAL SPECIFICATION

2013-06-24
CURRENT
ARINC628P7-2
Cabin equipment installations tend to impose loads on aircraft electrical power systems not envisioned in the original airplane design. This standard provides guidance on the design of future aircraft air conditioning and equipment cooling systems. It also describes the environment in which cabin systems, including In-Flight Entertainment equipment are expected to operate.

LOGICAL SOFTWARE PART PACKAGING FOR TRANSPORT

2020-11-16
CURRENT
ARINC641-1
The purpose of this standard is to provide a method for packaging aircraft software parts for distribution using contemporary media or by electronic distribution. This project intends to standardize and provide guidance for the storage of floppy based software, currently packaged in media set parts. This standard format can be then stored or distributed on a single physical media member (CD-ROM), or by electronic crate. The obsolescence of floppy disks drive an urgent need for this guidance.
