The 2-day foundational-level Fundamentals of GD&T course teaches the terms, rules, symbols, and concepts of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing as prescribed in the ASME Y14.5M-1994 Standard. It compares GD&T to coordinate tolerancing, Rules #1 and #2; form and orientation controls; tolerance of position; runout and profile controls. Potential regulations surrounding the development, testing and commercial launch of Highly Automated Vehicles and possible liability exposure for the manufacturing and operation of Highly Automated Vehicles are fluid and changing areas, that will continue to evolve over the next several years. RTCA DO-178C  is the globally-accepted standard for civil aviation software development and certification.
